Overview

The law on the protection of personal data is becoming increasingly important for companies to carry out their data processing activities in accordance with the legislation and to correctly manage the legal risks in this area. Data processing processes should be handled not only as a technical or administrative issue, but also within a clear legal framework. Therefore, the aim of compliance work is not only to produce documents; but to establish a structure that is suitable for the company's activities, sustainable and applicable.

We provide legal support to our clients on the examination of data processing processes and ensuring compliance with KVKK legislation. In this context, we work on the preparation of personal data processing inventory, the creation and updating of illumination texts, explicit consent texts, privacy and cookie policies, and other internal policies and procedures. In addition, evaluating the obligations regarding the VERBIS registration process and tracking the necessary steps are also among our services in this area.

Establishing the legal framework of relationships between data controllers and data processors is also one of the important topics of personal data protection law. In this regard, data transfer agreements are prepared, provisions regarding the protection of personal data are added to existing agreements, and legal opinions are provided on the relevant regulations. We also support our clients in data transfer processes abroad within the framework of standard contracts, binding corporate rules, and other legal mechanisms.

We also provide legal support to our clients in application, complaint, and administrative processes regarding the processing of personal data. Evaluating applications made by data subjects, managing response processes, following up on inspections, investigations, and information requests carried out by the Personal Data Protection Authority, and objection and litigation processes against administrative fines are among our activities in this scope. Our aim is to provide our clients with a legal framework in the field of personal data protection that is not only compliant with the legislation but also practically applicable and sustainable.
