Overview
The purpose of data protection compliance work is more than preparing the documents the legislation requires: it is to establish a structure suited to the company's activities and workable in practice. We carry out our work in this field with that understanding, having regard to the whole of the data processing operations.
We provide legal support to our clients on the examination of data processing processes and ensuring compliance with the KVKK. In this context, we work on the preparation of a personal data processing inventory, the creation and updating of privacy notices, explicit consent texts, privacy and cookie policies, and other internal policies and procedures. In addition, evaluating the obligations regarding the VERBIS registration process and tracking the necessary steps are also among our services in this area.
Establishing the legal framework of relationships between data controllers and data processors is also one of the important topics of personal data protection law. In this regard, data transfer agreements are prepared, provisions regarding the protection of personal data are added to existing agreements, and legal opinions are provided on the relevant regulations.
